KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Knoxville leaders cut the ribbon Tuesday on dozens of new affordable housing units — the Central Terrace apartments. The city said it contributed more than $2 million to community in the Inskip Neighborhood. The money for the project came from the Affordable Rental Development Fund.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — A new apartment complex is opening in Knoxville, promising 112 new affordable housing units.
Davie Construction Co. built Central Terrace Apartments, a project of Southeast Capital, a Knoxville-based developer specializing in affordable housing. The City of Knoxville provided $2,065,000 from its Affordable Rental Development Fund to help develop the property.
Knoxville looks to add more affordable housing through new projects
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The city of Knoxville will discuss an option for affordable rental housing relief in Tuesday's City Council meeting.
The council will be considering funding two housing projects. These projects will be located in North and West Knoxville and would be for low-income households.
Developers Central Terrace, LLC will handle the housing project located at 4502 Fennel Road. Here, 112 affordable rental units are expected to be planned.
