New apartment complex to add more affordable housing in Knoxville

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — A new apartment complex is opening in Knoxville promising affordable housing for the city.

The Ammons at Asheville Highway was built by Southeast Capital in partnership with developer Carl Lansden. The city of Knoxville provided $2 million dollars for construction to developers from its Affordable Rental Development Fund.

WNC Closes on 3 LIHTC Funds Totaling $255M

New affordable housing opens in East Knoxville with ribbon-cutting ceremony

November 17th, 2021— City leaders gathered in East Knoxville to celebrate the opening of a new affordable housing complex meant to provide homes for families who may not have the chance to live in many other places.
